BlackbaudNow® is a simple, easy to use system to get online and begin accepting online donations. This complete solution includes:

How much does BlackbaudNow® cost?
Set up, hosting, and support are all free. You simply pay a transaction fee of 4.95% and $0.30 per transaction for all online donations.

Is there an additional fee to use PayPal?
No. There are no additional PayPal fees for using this offering. The 4.95% + $0.30 per transaction fee includes the use of BlackbaudNow® and PayPal.

When will my funds be deposited in my PayPal account?
All donations are collected in the BlackbaudNow® PayPal account and each month on the 1st and 16th (or the first business day that follows) those donations will be disbursed. It may take up to 3 days following a disbursement cycle for you to see the funds in your nonprofit PayPal account.
BlackbaudNow® will not be able to disburse donations to your site if you set up your BBNow website with a PayPal account that has non-US bank account backing and is on PayPal's restricted list.

How does BlackbaudNow® work?
BlackbaudNow® is a fully integrated system built specifically for smaller nonprofits. This allows you to quickly and easily build your website by using prebuilt templates to establish your online presence and enable online donations in just minutes. No programming skills or special technology required. Online donations are automatically processed and populated in your donor database. This enables you to run reports, email constituents, and enable future fundraising campaigns.

Do I have a record of who donated and when?
Like magic- the name, contact information, and donation details appear in your system for each and every online donation. All this information is stored in your system so you may contact these loyal supporters again in the future. You can also track non-donors or other constituents who interact with your organization- volunteers, members, students, parents, etc.

Does the system provide a tax receipt to the donor?
Yes- your system will automatically generate a donor receipt for each transaction. The receipt is delivered via email and in the proper format.

Will I be able to see reports?
Yes- your system contains multiple reports for all transactions, constituents, and donations. Simply select the report you want to run, the output format that works best for you, and run your report.

What types of donations can the system track?
All forms of donations can be tracked and reported on through BlackbaudNow®. Online transactions are automatically populated into your system and you can enter offline donations as well.

How will search engines find my website?
BBNow will place your site's title in a meta element on the website. This will help search engines identify what your site is about. In addition, a link to your website will be added to www.bbnow.com to increase the presence of your website on the internet.
Most search engines allow you to submit your website address to be added to their listing. Below are links to "submit your site" forms for Google, Yahoo, and MSN.

What if I already own a domain name or do not want "bbnow.org" in my address?
Most domain name providers offer a URL forwarding or masking service. With these services, your registered domain (xyznonprofit.org) can be redirected to your BlackbaudNow® domain. This service is available through most major domain registrations sites (networksolutions.com, godaddy.com, register.com, etc). Some registration sites charge extra for this forwarding service while others offer this for free.

Is there a limit to the number of records I can store?
No, with BlackbaudNow® you can store as many supporter records as you like.

Will I be able to keep my donor records if I choose to upgrade to another Blackbaud product?
Yes, Blackbaud will preserve your time and energy put into BlackbaudNow® and provides a seamless upgrade to eTapestry that can be completed in minutes. If you are interested in the Raiser's Edge you can use the export functionality to easily map data in the Raiser's Edge database.
